Traditional procurement
fully designed contracts (typically a JCT or similar) working with/on behalf of the client’s design team
Two Stage Tendering
time is usually critical and the client requires a contractor on board before the design is completed
Detail & Build
some design, perhaps a concept, has been carried out by an external party on behalf of the client
Full Design & Build
Cameron Black’s designer will take a full brief, produce detailed drawings and Cameron Black will build to this specification
To ensure our projects are delivered on time, on budget and to our clients satisfaction we employ:
Project Managers
who are based on site full time to oversee the project
Contracts Managers
who take overall responsibility for delivery of the project and manage its commercial aspects
Estimators
who are responsible for pricing the tenders we receive
M&E Co-ordinators
who look after the Mechanical & Electrical portions of a project linking our specialist sub-contractors and the client’s M&E Consultant. They also undertake design work where none (or a limited specification) has been provided
Design Managers
to coordinate either the detailed design requirements from our client’s initial design scheme or to develop a concept design through to full implementation for our design & build projects
Direct Labour
to assist in the delivery of projects without always having to rely on unknown external sources
Office Resource
including production of O&M manuals, accounts, sales, marketing, health & safety, sustainability and general administration.
